Our Story
A riad built to last.
Independently owned and locally rooted since 2009.
Where it began
When we found the house, the courtyard was full of rubble and one orange tree was still standing. It took four years, sixty craftsmen and more mint tea than anyone counted to bring it back.
Cedar carved by hand in the Mouassine workshops.
Every zellige tile, cut and laid one at a time.
Craft
We restored the riad the way it was built: tadelakt polished with stones and black soap, cedar from the Middle Atlas, zellige from Fez. Nothing is new for the sake of it, and nothing is old just for show.
